Ink On Gauze
My research project investigates the relationship between fiber art and Chinese ink painting in contemporary art practice. My research aims to use fiber material to express ink painting in order to apply the change of aesthetic and to give tradition a new order. My study focuses on how to use contemporary-artistic imitation of traditional Chinese painting with composite materials. My work is inspired by Xu Bing’s Background Story and Qi Baishi’s ink paintings. I use gauze, yarn and screen cloth to reconstruct elements in traditional ink paintings and add new elements in my project. By expanding the size and displaying my work in the contemporary manner, I want to change the original visual experience for the audiences to look at traditional ink paintings.

Wilderness-New World
As for me,painting is no longer a job outside of life ,It should not serve for a topic. On the one hand painting is independent, and on the other hand it is in symbiosis with me.It not only records the world at the moment, but also records me. It makes me full of vitality.

Wilderness-old world
Today, the self is infinitely magnified and infinitely trampled, which is the tragedy of mankind. This is a symbol of the times, everyone is coerced by this mixed line controld, everything seems to be the real life of the necessary evidence! Life becomes blind. "Modern civilization" seems to be pulling the whole world step by step close to infinite split, fell into the abyss! But mankind has never given up for their own way out!

Wilderness-Epidermis
Art becomes a gentle and powerful way of talking to reality!it Is about the cycle of life and death asked. It is the blend of life and heaven and earth! Art is the power of mankind to survive . This is the artist's ideal, although the effect is very small, but I will still work for it.
