My piece blends graphite illustration, graphic coloring, text and handwriting. My piece centers on my poem, "Apu" (meaning grandmother, in Kapampangan, one of the about two hundred Filipinx languages that still exist), and is about honoring grandmothers, our ancestral lands (incl. the stories of the land), and how, for a great majority of humxns throughout Her/Their/OurStory, dominant West civilization has hindered and/or damaged connection to both for many of us.

这幅画会有一点奇幻浪漫的色彩，画面整体氛围其实并不安静，画面中间是猫先生坐在餐桌旁，他注视着他的对面，细心留意的话可以发现，盘子里的蛋糕并未落定，它处于一种失重的状态，高脚杯里面飞起的白光，都体现了当时猫先生不安的心里情绪，整体氛围的一种局促感，仔细观察的话，其实餐具和高脚杯并没有放在猫先生的手边，而是放在他对面的位置，也就是说画面之外还应该有一个人坐在那里，那么是什么人会让猫先生有如此情绪呢，是他的朋友，亲人？恋人？还是陌生人？这些在画面中并没有体现出来，其实在我看来好多有趣的东西并不完全在画面里，而是我们通过观察一幅画之后，凝聚起想象力，去联想到画面之外的事情.画面中所描述的也是真实存在过的一幕,人物我用猫先生替换过来，当时猫先生对面坐着一个女孩,现在已经是他相望于江湖的恋人./This painting is a little fantasy romantic color, frame integral atmosphere is not quiet, picture in the middle is Mr Cat sit down at a table, he watched his opposite, careful attention to words can be found that the plate of the cake is not settled, it is in a state of weightlessness, goblet of white light, reflect the cat was Mr Anxious mood in my heart, the whole atmosphere of a cramped feeling, careful observation, tableware and goblet did not actually on the cat's hand, but in the opposite him place, that is to say the picture outside there should be a person sitting there, so what makes Mr Cat have such feelings, is his friend, family member?A lover?Strangers?These is not reflected in the picture, in fact, in my opinion, a lot of interesting things is not in the picture, but we by looking at a picture of all imagination, to think of things that are not part of the picture. 如果图像越来也清晰我们就能更清晰的看清这个世界和我们自身么？当下所处的数字时代，我们在追求着图像的高清晰度，讲究图像的精细化程度。而构成图像清晰的重要指标是图像的分辨率。分辨率(resolution，又称解析度)就是屏幕图像的精密度，是指显示器所能显示的像素的多少。作品用逆成像品质高清晰的方式，将自我图像的分辨率不断削弱，来重新审视自己。 If the images are clear, we can more clearly see the world and our own?
