In the field of art, different people have different viewpoints. On the one hand, some artists seem to focus on the theory of cosmic string theory, which is an extreme. Another extreme, is to explore their own feeling deep inside the heart. The problem we are thinking is generally cruising between the two poles, then there comes a new question during the process of cruising, that is, we can not find a standard to judge what is right, what is good or bad.

On the other hand, today's society is a big environment for a cultural revival, the traditional cultural craft representative , Mr. rabbit’s guardian and successor, Zhang Zhongqiang said: Now my biggest confusion is that I am the inheritance of this skill, The successor. What disappointed us is that we do not care and protect about our true traditional things and feel no pity for what we have done. left some crafts no successor. We have lost too much n the history of passing.

This is a reflection of the contradiction between the spiritual civilization construction and the rapid economic development of the world. On the one hand, we advocates diversity and encourages the development of new things. On the other hand, we advocate to retain and pay attention to our feelings. We built a lot of reinforced concrete buildings, but we feel reluctant to split old house, this is what we called feelings and history.

This kind of history and feelings is not simply to keep a past thing, because it’s hard to use simple material power to retain it, if it did not develop with passing time, it is just an not alive antique. The direction of our efforts should be turn it into a living thing, lead it to follow the trend of the times, continue to move forward.

Surprisingly, our contemporary young artists bored after 80, 90’s has been in the way of exploring and practicing by themselves during the creation, associating with the international standards. Eye Art International Youth Exhibition is a very good opportunity. We young Chinese artists can unite to show such a thriving exhibition, making their voice to be heard outside the country, expressing our insights of art, including the city culture, ecological environment, culture rights, passing our artistic ideas all over the world. Eye Art is a good attempt.
