After collecting more than 1400 pieces of artworks from more than 10 countries, Eye Art carefully selected the most outstanding 50 pieces of artworks to be displayed at the Hq of UN in NYC. In addition to the 50 chosen art works, Eye Art especially plans Tianqing Piggy project to add more ornamental and entertaining value to the exhibition.
Tianqing Piggy is designed by an unorthodox Chinese designer Mr. Dejian Liu who is also a successful entrepreneur and Harvard University lecturer. Tianqing Piggy’s image expresses a strong sense of scientific, technological and contemporary fashion and is so well-received by young artists and designers that they can’t help graffitiing on it. On August 4th, there would be altogether 102 redesigned Tianqing Piggies displayed at HQ of UN in NYC, with 3 piggies 5 inches tall and the other 99 piggies as tall as 1 inch. This huge set of installation art will be located at the exhibition space inside UN main building from August 4th to 11th.
Eye Art will hand out 99 original Tianqing Piggies to Eye Art International Youth Exhibition attendees on August 4th. Come to the exhibition, bring your own Tianqing Piggy home and redesign it according to your special talents.
Information about Eye Art International Youth Exhibition
The Eye Art International Youth Exhibition will be displayed on the first floor Delegate Entrance. With a central exhibit it will display fifty works of modern art selected from more than 1,400 works submitted to eyeartinternational.com The public exhibition will also feature 10 works from philanthropic organizations and a large installation of 102 plastic pigs.
