New York, N.Y. (July 7, 2017) Eye Art International is pleased to announce a dynamic and unique art exhibition at The United Nations Headquarters in New York City. The Exhibition will feature works by artists from China as well as other countries, from which Eye Art have invited the artists to build international dialogue through their culture and art.
The exhibit is inspired by China's "One Belt, One Road" campaign, an ambitious development campaign through which China wants to boost trade, stimulate economic growth and enhance cultural communication across Asia and beyond. One of Eye Art's goals was to inspire Chinese youth to interact with different cultures and to think about global responsibilities and issues. The exhibition is open to the public from August 4th to August 11th, 2017.
The Eye Art International Youth Exhibition will be displayed on the first floor Delegate Entrance. With a central exhibit it will display fifty works of modern art selected from more than 1,400 works submitted to eyeartinternational.com The public exhibition will also feature 10 works from philanthropic organizations and a large installation of 102 plastic pigs original created by young creative employees at Net Dragon, a Chinese internet company listed in Hongkong. Some of those paintable plastic pigs will also be redesigned by the artists in New York City and displayed on the opening ceremony. To build the future prosperity of the cultural landscape, the UN-HABITAT Youth Empowerment and Urban Security Committee signed a cooperation memorandum with Eye Art International on Feb 22, 2017, and encourage the Chinese youth to honor the “Youth Empowerment”. Eye Art is co-sponsored by Perfect World, a Chinese leading entertainment industry group and funded by Lufthansa AG, the German International airline.
